Review of Malice (1993) by Scott H — 30 Mar 2008
It can get a little confusing with this one... See, I like the movie and the performances; but I get a little lost at at times. It's like they decided to throw so much information at the audience, just to confuse them in to not guessing the ending, or anything, for that matter.
But it IS suspensful and it DOES feel like a thriller and, indeed, it does thrill. And the actors are all very good (even a pretty ham fisted and unbelievably butch Bebe Neuwirth), with Bill Pullman faring the best.
I just think they could have made a better movie if they had simplified things a little.
