A boy becomes a man in Italy during World War II, however, it is the object of his desires and fantasies, Monica Bellucci, who really steals the show. Monica's portrayal of the strong yet extremely vulnerable and sensual Malena is nothing short of extraordinary.
Every frame Monica is in oozes sexuality while always maintaining an amazing artistic visage. This film works on so many different levels, the cinematography and acting are amazing and the story is an emotional roller coaster, both for the actors and the audience.
