Monica Bellucci is just plain beautiful in this film that, for some reason, reminds me of 'Cinema Paradiso', although that's a solid 5 stars. This film is visually stunning (not just for Ms. Bellucci, but she helps).
Be warned, though, there is one disturbing and pretty violent scene later in the film; it's a little drawn out and fits with the story, but it IS a bit tough to watch. That said, this is still a gem and is likely to draw you into that Monica Bellucci fan base.
