Short, lacking the promised action if trailers, and without much of a sensical plot, maleficent is a diss appointment because it had potential to be more. Why does it take Angelina Jolie 80 minutes to win when she has the power to practically do anything, except I guess she can't give herself new wings.
Also she is never actually evil at all as trailers proposed. The trailers were interesting but deceptive. I believe Screen Junkies Honest Trailer for this movie does it justice.
