Review of Maleficent (2014) by Drago? C — 25 Dec 2014
A great performance by Jolie (past what I expected from her) and a middling one from Copley (less than what I was expecting from him) are the only remarkable things about Maleficent. While the movie certainly knows how to tug at some heartstrings along the course of its reinventing of the Sleeping beauty story it is still underwritten and very dull and dragging at times.
