Review of Maleficent (2014) by Mitchell L — 05 Jan 2015
There for a while I was on board for what this movie was about. I liked the background story between Stephen and Maleficent and the story of revenge on Maleficent's part leading up to her famous curse.
But then they went another way with this movie and they lost me. They gambled by trying to change the entire storyline of a classic fairy tale and to me, it didn't work out in their favor. A love story between Aurora and Maleficent? Too much.
