An interesting take on the tried and true fairy tale. Angelina Jolie is captivating and holds the movie together. Some creative, colourful creatures add some wonder and, despite some dark scenes, this is an enjoyable family movie.
Not the greatest thing you will see but worth a hire on DVD.
