Ghastly. Besides the butchery of all things lovely about this story, the girl who played Rose was an abomination. Everything that was intriguing about the original characters, including Maleficent, in the cartoon was destroyed and replace by an overpowering dependency "epicness".
The battle scene at the end was just too cliche to handle. I was excited to watch this because as a child I was always horrified by Maleficent and her sheer evil. This was a very lame and cheesy movie.
