Review of Maleficent (2014) by Manzar A — 22 Oct 2015
I loved some aspects of Maleficent. There is a very strong biblical influence on this movie, I feel. The action in the movie is well done and kept PG rated. I respect that.
I most love the aspect of the curse on the sleeping beauty. That's a whole new turn on the event. Love's first kiss wasn't about the young prince kissing the girl whom he just liked. It was about the mother's love being channeled into the first kiss.
This was the equivalent of Lily Potter's sacrificial protection for Harry.
