Review of Maleficent (2014) by Bill T — 02 May 2016
Interesting retelling of the Sleeping Beauty fairy tale, concentrating on the dark enemy Maleficent. Disney sort of turns things around though, making Mal a bit of an antihero and changing the story, well, a lot.
It's stupidly cute in some areas, very very violent in others, and I was slightly annoyed by that. Angelina Jolie is grand though,and so are the visuals. so see it for that.
