Honestly as someone who has loved Maleficent since she was a little girl, this movie is a letdown. The things that make Maleficent worthy of a movie of her own are completely erased by Disney's desire to make like.
..family friendly feel good crap I guess. The score also sucked, which is a shame since the original animated movie had a really impressive soundtrack. Also, it's been 2 years and the special effects already haven't aged well.
