Review of Maleficent (2014) by Jim S — 21 Feb 2015
This film looks fantastic, with amazing effects and spectacular production design. However, if not for Angelina Jolie's mesmerizing performance it would lose a lot of its charm (or potential for charm).
It gets dragged down in its own story and proves to be a lot darker than it really needs to be.
