Review of Malcolm X (1992) by Joseph O — 22 Feb 2008
Really great biopic of a man I really didn't know all that much about. Denzel deserves a ton of the credit for making this gargantuan movie watchable. Any other actor with less charisma and presence would have resulted in a seriously boring movie but Denzel makes it one of Spike Lee's finest films.
Bottom Line: Even at 3 hours and 20 minutes, I found myself enthralled.
