Review of Malcolm X (1992) by G G — 02 Mar 2008
The beginning made me worried that the whole movie was just going to be Spike using Malcolm X as a tool to scare and teach whitey a lesson but what happens couldn't be further from my original expectations.
The only downside was the "I Am Malcom X" montage it felt like a lame rip off of the "I Am Spartacus" scene but with children and for no apparent reason but then Nelson Mandela came out and that made up for it.
