Great actors, great Black American figure. He's one of my heros, and the movie is a great re-enactment. Spike Lee is a great director. There's such a stigma about Malcolm X that many have tried to taint his legacy with, but don't go for the hype, he was a brilliant man! I recommend that you also read his autobiography written by Alex Haley.
While you're at it, read and watch Roots!
