Review of Malcolm X (1992) by Kim B — 20 Jul 2009

I never knew the background to this man's life and it really helps explain why he became who he was. A long movie, but Malcolm had a long and full life for his short time here. I kind of thought it painted him like he didn't advocate violence at the very end, when it appears he did at one point.

I'm not saying he wasn't important or that he didn't denounce that later, but he wasn't perfect either. Denzel gave a stunning performance.
