It's a complex movie about a complex man. i'm not really a spike lee fan but I do pay attention to his work because I think it's fairly original. in my opinion this is his best work. i'm not sure about the veracity of the movie but I think it conveys malcolm's vision fairly well.
it gets a little too preachy for me in the last few minutes but overall it was good. denzel does a great playing malcolm.
