Review of Malcolm X (1992) by Nicolas M — 03 Apr 2010

It's good, but unfortunately it's overlong, and drags painfully. The performance of Denzel Washington was superb, deservingly receiving recognition for best actor from the academy. I didn't fully approve with all that has been said because I strongly believe that when you hate people so much you will just make it worse for yourself and for them and therefore wouldn't get any positive solution but only grow the hate in yourself and in the people you are offending.

That's basically why I couldn't really enjoy this movie, or respect Malcolm X, although it's a very good piece of work.
