Review of Malcolm X (1992) by Jonathan S — 04 Jul 2010
As I've gone back to Spike Lee's earlier stuff (earlier than Summer of Sam), my opinion of him has really risen. The very ending of this one didn't quite do it for me, but the rest of it did.
It had a bit of the idiosyncracies of Do the Right Thing combined with the epic feel of Ghandi.
