Spike Lee's masterpiece hands down...He hasn't come close to approaching this artistic peak. Denzel Washington exudes a forceful charisma in the title role, and should've won the Best Actor Oscar.
Lee wisely relegates his preachy moments for the latter portion of the picture. A bristling biopic of a still controversial figure.
