Overall, a good movie, with an important message! And I can't get over how much Denzel looked like Malcolm! But I thought the first hour plus was too much back story, and that Spike Lee was terrible as Shorty.
Seemed like a vanity thing to me. Still, LOVED Ossie Davis speech at the end!
