Zendaya is the best thing about a movie that tries so hard to make a commentary about the film industry's state, particularly the criticism aspect. Sam Levinson incorporates meta moments not to elevate the story but to make sure the audience knows he's there.
Not a terrible movie, but not so memorable either.
