A bird's eye and objective view of a cultural landmark and where it fits within the overall history of the gay rights movement. The fact that an entire generation is unfamiliar with the work or Stonewall and can only trace their identity from Splash is funny, sad and hopefully not the norm.
The disconnect between the critical applause for this film and the Facebook reviews is a little disheartening.
