Review of Making Love (1982) by Maxime H — 10 Sep 2007
Well, this came on later at night/early morning. As a gay man, most would think I would love movies about gay characters, but I'm really picky when it comes to gay-oriented films. This flick has an amazing storyline that really transcends the typical revelation that takes place here.
In my opinion, what makes this film work is the focus on Zack's emotions and the marriage. Very few movies make me cry - this flick, however, had me crying a river. There really is so much love demonstrated between Claire and Zack - I truly felt their pain.
