Review of Make the Yuletide Gay (2009) by Ross G — 22 Nov 2009

It's a feel good movie, really light hearted and pleasant. The gay puns are typical of such a movie, but like many similar films, there is an almost total absence of affection between the guys. Of course, I shouldn't expect dudes kissing each other more than once in a pg-13 film, right?

Seemingly filmed in an LA suburb, nobody buys that it's -20 degrees outside when the characters are wearing thin hoodies and t-shirts. The coming out scene is clever, but it's really the best the film has to offer.

I watched it cause it's the holidays and because I could sort of relate, I don't think I would watch it otherwise.
