Review of Make-Out with Violence (2008) by Michael H — 23 Mar 2012
Sorry, but it's a terrible film. The plot is seriously lacking, disjointed, and often confusing. The dialogue and acting is so bad I felt embarrassed for the actors. The curious character of Wendy (and the actor portraying her) were the only redeeming factors, but were also unfortunately the smallest part of the movie!
BTW, the mystery of how Wendy disappeared, and came to be the living dead, could have been a more explored and integral part of the film without losing the mystique or explaining everything. It definitely would've ramped up the interest and possible quality of the story and execution.
Just because it's indie and strange doesn't mean it's good. Big disappointment.
