Review of Major League (1989) by Adam J — 07 Jun 2013
When a widow inherits a Cleveland baseball team, she wants to sell the stadium and move to a hotter climate, but she realises that the only way she can do that is with a low crowd attendance; so she gathers up a team of misfits and losers.
There is nothing to differentiate this movie from other underdog sport comedies with a happy ending, but the characters are still amusing and the film is a work of innocent fun.
