Review of Magnum Force (1973) by Antonio G — 06 Jun 2008
Its attempts at clarifying the line between Harry Callahan's brand of justice and fascism with the death squads is respectable and doesn't make the answers as easy as one would expect, but there are too many extraneous scenes and stretched sequences that the movie becomes tiresome in its final chases.
It's a really good 90-95 minute that languishes in its 120+ minute run time.
