Review of Magnum Force (1973) by Ben E — 22 Sep 2009
The sequel to Dirty Harry, a bold new chapter that deals with dirty cops... a something of a yet then unexpected and debatable subject that runs very well in this sequel.
There's a little more depth in the plot now and Harry Callahan's character is deeper research than before. Now we understand his beliefs of what he upholds the law for. When he faced the real culprits that is on the same side of the law, he has no choice but to make what he believes in - the system.
Never have we see the other side of Harry Callahan than Magnum Force - one to be reckon with that is slightly better than the first. Lots of action, the pacing is great and the plot is interesting enough to keep you seated. Once again, Clint Eastwood has shown his other side of acting that make us love Dirty Harry and why we all should support him.
Overall:- A better sequel worth checking out.
