Harry Callahan returns to take on a vigilante group within the city's police force. Regardless of the fact that this film lacks the dark style of Don Siegel's Dirty Harry film and lacks the gripping pace of its predecessor, the film is certainly a worthy sequel strengthening the iconic legacy of Eastwood's portrayal of the anarchic character also thanks to an intelligent screenplay signed by Michael Cimino and John Milius.
