An honestly good sequel, Magnum Force does exactly what every sequel should: have the same level of effort as the first film, while not attempting to overshadow it. The story and the mystery behind the plot is brilliant, always keeping your attention yet not overblowing your mind with pointless information.
While the characters, besides Harry, are all typical for a Police Thriller like this, the interactions and the way they are portrayed is good. While I praise the film a lot, there are a few things I was not too keen on.
One of these is the length, it felt a little too long and a bit overstretched. Also, the dialogue was ok at best and the score didn't feel fitting to Dirty Harry. It's still a good film and sign that Dirty Harry sequels can work.
