Review of Magnum Force (1973) by Jay L — 19 May 2011
A bit of fun 70s nonsense. Not as good as the first one, Harry is already becoming a caricature, and the whole thing has the feel of an extended episode of a buddy cop show, Cranky McTough and his Expendable Partner.
But still a solid, serious portrayal of touch cops taking down punks, and nice to see Harry drawing the line at joining a death squad, despite his gun happy ways.
