I can't believe I'm saying this, but I could watch John C. Reilly (and Melora Walters, really) for hours and hours in this film. I honestly wish there'd been more for them to do. The film all works as a whole, but I think Tom Cruise's storyline could have been handled better.
And, I really can't believe he got the most acclaim out of all the people in this film. Really, to me, Reilly, Julianne Moore, and William H. Macy stand out as highlights here. Jason Robards was also good.
