Review of Magicians (2000) by Rachael B — 23 May 2008
Magicians is a good comedy if your a fan of Mitchell and Webb and the TV series "Peep Show"!
The film uses a very similar style of comedy to what is used in the Peep Show TV series, and the two main characters are very similar to the ones seen in the series too. This isn't a completely bad thing though, as I'm a big fan of these characters, but I think I would've liked to see a little more variation with the characters, not just the same characters playing magicians.
There isn't much left to say about this movie, only that if your're a big fan of Peep Show (by the way, if your not, go buy the DVDs now!) then you will probably enjoy Magicians. I know I did.
