Review of Magicians (1982) by Edward H — 21 Sep 2007
Confetti, Hott Fuzz and now Magicians. Something about TV funny men does not quite transpose to film and this is yet another tiresome example of the UK comedian trying their hand at film and falling flat on their arses.
I am a massive fan of Peep Show and Mitchell and Webb but this is not nearly a patch on their TV comedy counterparts and left me horrendously dissapointed in what had the potential to be a very good film indeed.
