One time partner magicians Harry Kane (Mitchell) and Karl Allen (Webb) are forced to put their differences aside over a fatal accident at one of their performances when they team up years later to try and win a magic competition, but as soon as they see each other again they decide to go it alone and become bitter rivals for the honour of being named best magician and winner of the much coveted Shield.

This movie was okay, but not as good as people seemed to make out. Mitchell and Webb pretty much reprise their roles from Peep Show, and itâ??s the supporting cast who are doing most of the work to keep the movie entertaining, specifically Jessica Stevenson and Darren Boyd.

This review of Magicians (1982) was written by on 23 Dec 2007.
