Review of Magic Trip: Ken Kesey's Search for a Kool Place (2011) by Ellen G — 06 Nov 2011

I've never been a big fan of films made for those people who can relate to drug use, in particularly, tripping. This film is one of those I should have passed up but intrigue told me to give it a shot.

As soon as I saw the references to "On the Road" I knew it wasn't for me as that is one of the few books I couldn't get through. This is just a film about an almost non-eventful bus ride across America with the man who wrote one flew over the cuckoos next and his entourage of middle class gimps dropping acid whenever they can.

The film makes it out to be a historical event, I don't know why.
