I never saw the first Magic Mike, and I honestly thought I'd hate this movie. It's just not my thing. But it was at the cheap theater and my friend wanted to go so what the heck? Surprisingly, I loved it! We were laughing throughout most of the movie, I found it entertaining in the way I was supposed to (YASSSS), and I would actually watch it again.
It's certainly not highbrow, but for a fun night out with my girls it was great.
