Magic Mike was an unexpected pleasure a few years ago. Despite petulant Alex Pettyfer, Matthew McConaughey's charm and Channing Tatum's likable central character meant it was more than just buff blokes prancing about.
Unfortunately, this follow up that I caught up with recently was a big disappointment. Endless grinding scenes and a meandering plot that didn't even bother with a proper ending! The original film was a drama with some dancing/stripping scenes.
This is pretty much the inverse - and the drama is rubbish! Strictly for the hen parties and gay guys I think...
