It's much funnier, more light-hearted, and just plan fun than the first movie. I happened to be one of maybe 4 dudes in a theater full of women who were whooping and hollering throughout, as if we were in an actual strip club.
Which speaks to the energy of the film. I got the feeling that the new director let the guys have more fun with their parts than Soderberg did. As for the objectified male picture of 2015, this one BURIES 50 Shades of Gray.
Believe it.
