For a soderbergh fan like me, it's not that hard to dislike magic mike, though I felt neutered every time those muscle bound hunks do their thing on stage. I carelessly watched magic mike without even knowing the casts and the production, and on the middle of screening, I said that is pretty much like a soderbergh style of delivery and it was, really, a soderbergh direction.

magic mike is a drama of a male stripper who doesn't get lost in the world of night-stripping business along with his youngblood cohort who couldn't handle the edge of the trade. it's an above satisfactory film, I enjoyed the rawness and the sound editing which brings the audience closer to the stage.
