Review of Magic Mike (2012) by Jiana W — 20 May 2013
"Showgirls" for women. A lot of my female friends were flipping out and drooling over the man-candy in this movie. All I have to say is, if a movie about female strippers came out and our guy friends were freaking out with delight over it, it would've been World War III on Facebook.
There's some good dancing at least. Channing Tatum's dancer background shines through when he's on-stage. He also turns in some fairly-good acting (for him).
