Based on the posters, ads, etc. - you might think that 'Magic Mike' is a funny take on the world of male stripping. However, the pacing is slow. The comedy is nearly obsolete. And in typical Soderburg fashion, ends on a massive yawn.
Channing Tatum does a great job selling his character, but the rest of the 'revue' are one note or not utilized at all. Overall, I cannot recommend, as it lacks on the 'Magic'.
