Review of Magic in the Moonlight (2014) by Ludovico R — 26 Sep 2014
Never mind the critics, whoever loves and appreciates Woody Allen's filmography will also enjoy this little fairytale. And any movie that is not a masterpiece from Woody fares infinitely better than what's out there.
Smart dialogue, beautiful setting, wonderful costumes, cinematography and class pouring from every scene and every actor, especially the refreshing, beautiful and talented Emma Stone who can own her own against the always reliable Colin Firth and the magnificent supporting players.
Only downside is that some of the characters could have had more depth but besides this, the magic is all there, on the screen!
