Woody Allen is making perhaps a final statement on life that "while the world may or may not be without purpose, it is certainly not without a bit of magic". There is an enchanting quality about the film that had me entranced for sure and Colin Firth delivers a fine performance but I have to say that Woody is reverting back to a territory that is perhaps all too familiar.
