Review of Magic in the Moonlight (2014) by Ron B — 17 Jan 2015
As sweetly charming as any romantic comedy made before 1940. Better than any made after. Woody Allen's script plays like music and he hits all the right notes. Collin Firth is dry. Emma Stone is luminous.
Obviously they end up together. Maybe. Maybe not. But there's magic from the opening scene until the final credits. An excellent companion to Woody Allen's Midnight in Paris.
