Review of Magic in the Moonlight (2014) by Sarjoun S — 28 Oct 2015
Falls into that familiar middle ground of likable Woody Allen films. None the less I am such a sucker for his later work, I don't mind that % 50 of the people might not like this film, I love it. It's a movie that you don't pick apart or question too much just go along for the ride.
You will get the usual beautiful scenery and costume design that comes across as completely authentic and unforced, the score is the usual whimsy jazz tunes that make you smile, and when your watching at home you can't help but to hit rewind on the remote to commit to memory the cool little one liners and dialogue gems that Allen still delivers.
The movie is meant to be enjoyed and leaves you with a smile instead of a thought provoking head ache, shell out the $4-5 dollars at the used DVD store or online to add this to your collection.
