Review of Maggie's Plan (2016) by John K — 07 Jul 2016
An absolutely delightful film that's impossible to dislike. Maggie's Plan definitely hits home a bit in its depiction of narcissism in the NYC art and academia scene, but it's the performances of seemingly real and three-dimensional people by Gerwig and Hawke that make this film such a delight.
Ironically, for a movie about the messiness of life it wraps it's story neatly in a funny bow.
