Review of Maggie's Plan (2016) by Robby K — 20 Sep 2016
"Maggie's Plan" leans away from traditional Romantic-Comedy tropes and gives us a fresh take on a very strange modern love triangle. Greta Gerwig shines in her role as Maggie, Ethan Hake has good chemistry with both Gerwig and Julianne Moore, and Bill Hader is consistently hilarious throughout.
All in all it feels like a below average Woody Allen film... Which isn't necessarily a bad thing.
