Review of Maggie's Plan (2016) by Ashur D — 17 Aug 2016
An intellectual comedy with artful design and amazing acting! This movie may start slow, but its pronounced character grows on the viewer, pulling them into this crazy story acted out by quirky characters, which strangely mimics the complexities of human life and the silliness of individual agency and ambition, in favor of a world where all parts (whether idealistic and disengaged or practical and self-sacrificing) are needed to make society run, though, in a makeshift and chaotic kind of way.
